National Affordable Rental Scheme

NAHC holds some of the final, limited NRAS allocations that are available to be used on newly built properties in NSW and QLD. These NRAS allocations have 3 to 5 years to run.

NAHC is currently seeking partnership opportunities with developers to apply these allocations to new properties. Please register your interest and once the properties have been identified, we will contact you.

Please register your interest with Anita Peres, NAHC Project Manager. Anita can be contacted at [email protected] or on 07 3169 2500.

Shared Equity

NAHC has created the BuyAssist program which provides financial support for eligible Australians to purchase and fully own newly built approved property.

The program has been designed to help make home ownership more affordable and more attainable for more Australians.

The BuyAssist program has been designed to help families and individuals overcome two specific barriers to affordable home ownership: the time, cost and difficulty in saving a deposit while paying rent, and the ability to make loan repayments based on high prevailing purchase prices (and thus high interest repayments) compared to income.

A key feature of BuyAssist is that it has been designed as a licensed platform making shared equity possible for various organisations including government and statutory bodies, disability groups, churches, housing associations, and other not-for-profit and for-profit organisations.
