Linda Hoskins

Chair since 2020

Linda has over 30 years’ experience working in the community, health and government sectors in senior leadership roles. She has significant experience in the community housing sector, and a depth of knowledge of the machinations of government, both policy and practice. She has owned and run her own IT consultancy practice since 2012 focussed on the not for profit / for purpose sector. Linda has held many Non-Executive Director roles throughout her career including community housing, Arts and social enterprise boards. Board culture, practice, and corporate governance are areas of particular interest to her. She also served as a Councillor and Mayor at the City of Yarra.

Karen Smith-Pomeroy

Director of NAHCV since 2020

Karen has over 30 years’ experience in the financial services sector, holding senior executive roles within large financial services organisations. She has significant experience in risk and governance and extensive experience working with a wide range of companies across the property and infrastructure sectors nationally. Karen also currently holds a range of other board roles across different sectors.

Robert Hudson

Director of NAHCV since 2020

Rob has over 30 years’ experience in the community sector and in government in Australia. He has been CEO of several major community sector organisations, Board member of a registered Australian charitable organisation and Group GM Programs and Policy, Brotherhood of St Laurence. Rob has provided social and affordable housing consultancy advice to NAHC, and to the Victorian government. Rob has a sound understanding of government policy frameworks; funded program contractual requirements; extensive knowledge of relevant government legislation and legal requirements in the social housing sector.

Mike Myers

Managing Director of NAHCV

Mike has 38 years of experience in senior executive roles in social and affordable housing, including direct housing provision, policy development and legal and advisory services in the UK and in Australia from 1996. Mike is the Founder and Managing Director of the National Affordable Housing Consortium, one of Australia’s leaders in the provision of affordable housing, with almost 4,000 dwellings built and $1.4 billion in private investment attracted.
